CIRRUS Fitness proudly participated in Olympic Day Fencing Clinic

CIRRUS Fitness proudly participated in Olympic Day Fencing Clinic on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in conjunction with Olympic Day events around the world.

A not-‐for-‐profit organization, Fencers Club is a member of the United States Olympic Committee Community Olympic Development Program (CODP), one of only 11 organizations designated by the USOC throughout the country across all sports.

Olympic Day is a celebration for youth around the world to observe the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect. It is also a celebration of the Olympic Day pillars: move, learn and discover. In keeping with this philosophy and tradition, the goals of the Fencers Club’s event are to teach, inspire and motivate the youth fencing community, and to support our athletes—both Olympians and 2016 Olympic hopefuls—in their pursuit to make the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team.

This unique youth-‐focused event was run by our Olympians and world-‐class fencers who taught fencing while inspiring and motivating the participants to set high goals and take chances to achieve them.

Fencers Club was established in 1883 and is recognized throughout the world as a pioneer and leader in providing youth and community outreach programs. CIRRUS Fitness supports the Olympic mission and the dreams of athletes everywhere. For more information on the Fencers Club, visit
